“SoftBank” CEO Massa Yoshi-son revealed that general artificial intelligence will outperform human intelligence in almost all fields within ten years.
Speaking at a conference of investment companies in the technology sector, Son explained, "It is wrong to say that artificial intelligence will not surpass humans, artificial intelligence now develops itself and analyzes and learns just like a human."
Son criticized Japan, saying: "Much has been missed by the development in the internet sector, and the wave of artificial intelligence cannot be left behind either. More than 70% of companies in Japan either ban or consider banning the use of AI".
Expected investment in artificial intelligence is estimated at $200 billion by 2025.
